Jeff Kaiser is available as a private trumpet instructor in San Diego, CA. He has over 15 years professional experience working with ages ranging from young children to adults, teaching trumpet in all styles, from beginner to advanced, jazz to classical. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in music, and is currently working on a PhD in music at the University of California, San Diego.

Whereas Jeff's personal music is very abstract and modern, his teaching method is concrete and classically rooted while incorporating contemporary trumpet pedagogy; students focus on the fundamentals, which give them the ability to pursue the creative.

He has been a private trumpet teacher since graduating from college. He has coached brass, led seminars, and been a guest lecturer at numerous middle schools, high schools, and colleges, including visiting artist/lecturer positions at Roosevelt University (Chicago, Illinois), Westmont College (Santa Barbara, CA), California Institute of the Arts (Valencia, CA) and California Lutheran University (Thousand Oaks, CA). He has taught workshops at various locations including the Museum of Contemporary Art (San Diego, CA).

An award winning composer, he is also available for lessons and tutoring in music composition, theory, music technology, guitar and musicianship.
